Philadelphia Honey Festival
Sunday 9/12, 10am | Meet at House Office (EH112A)

We are starting our series on “Discovering Hidden Treasures of Philadelphia and its Surroundings” with a trip this Sunday to Bartram's Garden.  Bartram’s Garden is a public park and 50-acre National Historic Landmark, operated by the non-profit John Bartram Association in cooperation with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and welcoming an estimated 100,000 visitors each year.

We will be joining our KC1 Biosphere community for the Annual Philadelphia Honey Festival and other Free events held in Bartram's Garden. Experience an open hive demonstration, honey extractions, tastings, sales and more from local Philadelphia beekeepers and take a tour of a historic Quaker House.
