COVID-19 and our Food System

What:

In this 25-50 minute presentation, students will explore the risks of industrialized animal agriculture as a breeding ground for zoonoses and how the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed and exacerbated systemic injustice in the U.S. food system., from the mass “depopulation” of farm animals to the disproportionate impacts on agricultural workers, low-income communities, and communities of color.
