We Are Family

Thursday September 2nd, 2021 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM

The Center for Africana Studies, in collaboration with the African-American Resource Center, Makuu: Black Cultural Center, and Du Bois College House invites you to participate in the annual We Are Family orientation program. This gathering introduces incoming undergraduate, graduate, and professional students of African descent to some of the available resources available at Penn, including faculty, academic support services, mental health/emotional support services and resource/cultural centers. This year, we will welcome members of the Classes of 2024 and 2025 to campus!

We Are Family will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the Hall of Flags, Houston Hall, Perelman Quadrangle from 4-5:15 pm. The program begins promptly at 4 pm, and there will be time to meet and mingle with students and colleagues over refreshments immediately following the program.

We hope you will join us and show your support and extend a warm welcome to these newest members of our community. Please RSVP by no later than Thursday, August 26th at this link.
