Ice cream and PennSight Tour at the ICA

What:

Perspectives in Humanities will be venturing to the other side of the street in order to take a Pennsight tour at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Per the ICA's description:

A Pennsight tour is a student-led experience rooted in Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS), an approach to viewing art that encourages critical thinking, evidence-seeking, and empathetic communication through collaborative conversation. A 1-hour Pennsight tour consists of three 15-minute viewing sessions, each devoted to a different work of art. Using the open-ended, inquiry-based VTS model, Pennsight docents guide participants through unpacking the layered meanings of contemporary art, discovering their own connections with the work in the process.

We will head to Franklin's table for some ice cream afterwards!
