MERT First Aid Certification Training

What:

CPR and First Aid are invaluable skills that MERT believes everyone should know. Saving lives is not just for EMTs; in the case of a life-threatening emergency, immediate response is crucial. That means that you can help! The more people who learn CPR and First Aid, the safer we all are. This is a great reason to take a CPR or First Aid class!

The training costs $25. It is not subsidized or endorsed by the university, and the university does not have the expectation that students who complete the class should use it on behalf of the university.

MERT CPR and First Aid classes are led by AHA-certified instructors who are passionate about both teaching and helping people. The MERT instructors can promise you an enjoyable, informative class.

About 2-4 weeks after each MERT class, you will receive a certification card from the American Heart Association through the mail. The card is valid for 2 years
