As technology advances, more and more musicians are embracing the seemingly boundless possibilities of electronic instruments. One instrument, however, is often the cause of controversy for its pairings with electronic elements: the human voice.

This presentation will explore the various methods employed today to blend the voice with the many electronic and computer-based instruments and tools available. From the (in)famous Autotune, to digitally editing vocals, to producing electronic and pop music using only vocal elements, the intersection of vocal and electronic music is full of near-infinite creativity, and is only just getting started.
