Annual Huntsman Lecture: Intercultural Dialogue with Ari Satok

What:

Author details: Ari Satok is an author, speaker, and educator. His first book, the Architects of Hope, captures the stories of 16 young people from all around the world, who he interviewed during a year-long storytelling project he conducted traveling to international schools on four different continents, interviewing students from dozens of countries. The stories in his book focus on the theme of hope, and the power of young people to impact their own communities. Ari has done ~ 30 book talks and related workshops at venues both in the United States and abroad, speaking to groups at colleges, high schools (public and private), seniors' residences and NGOs. The colleges he has presented at include Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, and Wellesley. In addition, Ari has designed and led a variety of other education projects, aimed at helping people tell their stories, in places as varied as Nepal, Colorado, and New York City. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Princeton University and is always excited to share his experience with others and learn from them in return.
