Marketing & Media Manager

Job Overview: The Marketing and Media Manager is a creative, motivated individual who produces house-sponsored media/artwork to advertise events, trips, and other engagements for residents of KCECH. This manager works closely with their fellow board members, as well as the RAs/GAs and senior staff members, to ensure sure all creative and academic ventures are advertised effectively within the house.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintains house social networking accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter); creates and shares content in alignment with our mission.
  • Communicates with office staff, RAGAs, faculty, House Coordinator and House Dean to promote KCECH & CHAS activities and initiatives.
  • Takes pictures at house events; maintains Flickr archive for use on social media, house webpage, newsletter, etc.
  • Distributes a weekly newsletter.
  • Be ready for other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of social media and creative platforms
  • Creative and fast-working
  • Organizational skills
  • Able to communicate marketing ideas clearly and succinctly
