Biosphere Manager

Job Overview: The Biosphere Manager is an active, environmentally aware individual who plans outdoor and community service events to engage residents with their surroundings. This manager works with the KCECH staff and program residents to ensure activities are fun and informative. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Event planning and logistics (budgeting, arranging transportation, assembling supplies, purchasing tickets, collecting co-payments, monitoring attendance, etc.)
  • Event participation and engagement (and instilling the same in students)
  • Maintaining regular communication with senior staff.
  • Participating actively in other house events; attending weekly board meetings. 

Qualifications:

  • Passion for the environment
  • Breadth of knowledge about Biosphere related activities on campus and in the wider community
  • Community and team oriented
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to encourage leadership and participation in others.
