1.What does living in the Biosphere program mean?

BIOSPHERE (The Active Experience)--The Biosphere Program is all about how people interact with the world around them. Residents will have many opportunities, ranging from outdoor recreation to exploring all that Penn and the city of Philadelphia have to offer. If you are an active person and like to explore new things, this floor is for you! One of the programs features is that, as a resident, you help pick which social and academic activities take place. No matter what your field of study, the Biosphere Program can offer a great living and learning experience unlike any other.

2.What does Biosphere do?

Being in Biosphere you will have the opportunity to do one or more of these many thing:

• Rock Climbing Trips
• Camping Trips
• Weekend Brunches
• Dinner Chats with Faculty
• Parties and Movie Nights
• Trips around Philly
• Trips to D.C./Baltimore
• Midnight Breakfast Runs
• Snow-ball Fights

By living on Kings Court 1 you are automatically declared a member for that year. To join otherwise please contact the Biosphere Program Manager.
